Installation Details
The Samsung No-Gap mount was secured to the brick fireplace surround using masonry anchors, positioning the 85-inch Frame TV at 54 inches from floor to center—centered above the mantel for a dramatic visual statement. An in-wall media box was created adjacent to the fireplace to house the One Connect box, with the single transparent cable routed through the wall cavity. Heat clearance was verified to maintain safe distance from the fireplace's heat output, with a minimum 8-inch gap from the mantel shelf.
Professional Techniques Used
A rotary hammer drill with masonry bits was used to bore precise holes into the brick surround. Heavy-duty concrete anchors were inserted and torqued to support the combined weight of the 85-inch panel and the No-Gap mount. An in-wall concealment box was installed in the adjacent drywall section using a low-voltage old-work bracket. The transparent One Connect cable was routed from behind the TV through the wall cavity to the concealment box. A dedicated electrical outlet was wired inside the box to power the One Connect unit.
